Sophie Journal Pro — Trading Review & Discipline Dashboard for macOS

Sophie Journal Pro is a premium desktop trading journal built for traders who want a cleaner, smarter way to review closed trades, track discipline, monitor economic news, and study daily performance.

Designed for Apple/macOS users, Sophie Journal Pro connects with the SophieSMC trading ecosystem and helps traders review their execution after trades are completed. It is not a live trading panel and does not place trades. Its purpose is to help traders improve through structured review, performance tracking, and better risk awareness.

What Sophie Journal Pro Does

Sophie Journal Pro reads your completed trade data from your local Sophie executor file and organizes your trading performance into a clean dashboard. It shows daily, weekly, and monthly closed P/L, win rate, recent closed trades, calendar-based trade history, and discipline review tools.

The app also includes economic news awareness through a Finnhub API connection. Customers simply paste their own Finnhub API key in Settings and click Refresh API News. Sophie automatically builds the news connection and caches news data for 3 days to keep the app fast and avoid unnecessary API calls.

View today’s closed P/L, current week closed P/L, current month closed P/L, win rate, and the last 5 closed trades in a clean visual dashboard.

Calendar Review
Click any date to review that day’s closed trades, P/L, news context, mistakes, emotions, discipline score, and personal trade commentary.

Closed Trade Tracking
Sophie Journal Pro focuses on finished trade results only, including TP/SL/closed trade events. It avoids confusing live trade noise and keeps the journal centered on review and improvement.

Duplicate Trade Protection
The journal is designed to count each closed MT5 ticket only once and prefer the final broker/transaction row when available, helping prevent duplicated close attempts from distorting results.

Finnhub API News Integration
Customers can connect economic calendar news by entering their own Finnhub API key. The app displays news risk and helps traders become more aware of high-impact and medium-impact events.

3-Day News Cache
News data is cached for 3 days to keep the app smooth and reduce repeated API fetching.

Discipline & Mistake Tracking
Log mistakes, emotional state, trade lessons, and daily discipline notes to build better trading habits.

Export & Backup Tools
Export summaries, journal bundles, mistake logs, and keep local backups of your trading review data.

• SophieSMC X executor or compatible closed-trade CSV source

• A free or active Finnhub account for API news

• Their own Finnhub API key

• MetaTrader 5 setup if using the SophieSMC ecosystem
